April Wines

Our beloved and beautiful April Wines left this Earth on Wednesday July 22, 2015 due to complications from pancreatitis. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones as she passed on for a new adventure. We know that Grandpa (Chuck) Manwill and Grandma (Verleen) Kafton were with her as she was passing to help her leave her children and loved ones behind. April was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on April 20, 1980. She is a member of the LDS Church. She attended school in the Jordan School District where she enjoyed the opportunity to take dance class. She married Joey Woodward in 1999 and was blessed with a daughter, Haylee Cheyenne Woodward and a son, Timothy Tyler Woodward whom see loved dearly. Joey and April later split ways but they still remained friends. April loved having fun with her children, camping, fishing, hiking and was so talented with her hands. She loved craft projects and art projects. Most of us have something she made or drew . April is survived by her Children- Haylee & Tyler Woodward, (whom will always have a part of her in them), Parents- Roger & Jodie Wines, Grandmother- LaReta Manwill, Step Grandfather- Robert Kafton, Sisters- Heather (Dan) Boss and Christine (Alicia) Wines, Step Sister- Amanda Wines, Step Brother- Josh Wines, Fiancee- Jonathan Ecklund, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. April will be dearly missed by all her loved ones who will join together this coming Saturday for a Day of Rememberance. We want to thank the teams at the University Hospital ICU-Medical and ICU-Surgical for all the special care they gave to April. We all are grateful for the around the clock care she received and our freedom to stand at her bedside throughout the day & night. Thank you to everyone for all the over whelming love, prayers and support.
